What is the profile based excerpt macro?
With the profile based excerpt macro you can include a page excerpt based on user profile data. In the example above, the macro is showing content based on the content group "cover stories".
How do I insert the profile based excerpt macro?
Click on the plus icon and select other marcos. Type "profile based excerpt" into the search bar and click on it.
In the drop down menu, choose a content group which you have configured in the admin section. You can also click on the preview button to see a preview of the displayed content.
Click on the Save button.
What does the difference between the profile based excerpt macro and the profile based page macro look like?
You can also insert the Profile based page or the Profile based excerpt macro into the Default Welcome Message. Doing so will personalize the dashboard. Find out how here!
