Price Increases for On-Premises Products

On February 15, 2023, Atlassian will increase the prices for Confluence and Jira software, both in the Server and Data Center variants. This mainly affects the Advantage prices, which Atlassian wants to bring more and more in line with the list prices. However, there are also changes in the list prices for the Server variants. 

Further step towards Server End of Service

In addition to the new pricing, another change will apply as of February 15, 2023: It will no longer be possible to purchase and install new Server apps on the Atlassian Marketplace (Server apps for Fisheye and Crucible are not affected.) However, apps already in use can continue to be renewed until Atlassian completely discontinues support for servers in 2024. It makes no difference whether the apps are Atlassian apps or third-party apps from the Marketplace.

React in time and save money

Now that the price adjustments have been announced, you have the opportunity to react promptly and secure the old prices. You can do this, for example, by renewing your contract or buying new products before February 15. This is also a good opportunity to check whether you are entitled to discounts or trial extensions.

• Speaking of discounts, depending on the number of users you have, you can get different discounts from Atlassian. If you have more than 250 users, there's a 30% discount for the first year of Jira Service Management ( Cloud or Data Center) when you sign a three-year contract.
• On the other hand, until March 31, 2023, there's an offer that lets you use Jira Service Management for free for 10 users for one year.
