Add local images via drag & drop

The Microblog allows you to add local images to your posts. You can do this via drag & drop.

To do so, click on the image file you want to post and drag it into the editor. Then, click on the Post it button.

NEW IN 6.0

Since Microblog 6.0, you can add multiple files/images to your micropost (at once). Multi-upload works via drag & drop and via upload buttons.

Paste web images from clipboard

FUNCTION REMOVED IN MICROBLOG 6.0

You can also insert web images into your posts. One way to do it is to copy web images into your clipboard and then to paste them into the editor.

To do so, right click on the image you wish to post and select Copy Image. Then, right click inside the Microblog editor and select Paste. To publish your post, click on the Post it button.

Paste images from URLs

Another way to insert web images into your posts is to copy the image's URL.

To do so, right click on the image you wish to post and select Copy Image Address. Then, right click inside the Microblog editor and select Paste. The link will be transformed into an image automatically. Click on the Post it button to publish your post.

Paste YouTube and Vimeo videos from URLs

You can also embed video in your posts! Anytime you paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL into the editor, the video will be automatically embedded into your post.

To do that, right click on the video you wish to embed. Select Copy Link Address (or Copy Video URL). Then, right click inside the Microblog editor and select Paste. The link will be transformed into the Widget Connector macro. Click on the Post it button to publish your post and your video.

New preview

NEW IN 6.0

Microblog 6.0 introduces a brand new preview for attachments. This preview is lighter and faster than the old one.

You can download images from the preview or just view them. The download button is placed at the very top of the preview, in the left corner.

If multiple images are attached to a micropost, you can click on one of those images and then still preview every single file using the preview's navigation. The navigation arrows are placed left and right of the images. At the bottom of the preview you will also find a preview gallery.

In Microblog version 5.0.x it's not possible to edit attachments.

This bug was fixed in Microblog 5.1.
