Read only mode for Confluence Data Center

This release of Linchpin Essentials brings full support for the read-only mode on Confluence Data Center. In addition, we addressed some issues with Linchpin User Profiles.

Overall improvements

• Support for read-only mode on Confluence Data Center
  The administration of the apps is still possible, while users can not perform any changes.

Theme

There were no new features for Linchpin Theme in this release.

Bugfixes

• SINCE 1.1.1 The "Spaces" macro no longer breaks the "Cover Stories" macro when used on the same page.
• SINCE 1.1.1 The "Spaces" macro is responsive now. It doesn’t break in narrow columns anymore.
• SINCE 1.1.1 We brought back the search within the „Saved for later“ tab of the Linchpin Sidebar in Confluence 7 and later.
• SINCE 1.1.1 User mentions in the page history and edit mode are now colored correctly.
• SINCE 1.1.1 On some space admin pages, the sidebar buttons were off - we fixed this and the buttons are no longer in the way.
• SINCE 1.1.1 When exporting a page as PDF, images of image teasers are now included in the document.
• SINCE 1.1.1 The dead link in the new Confluence search sidebar is gone now.
• SINCE 1.1.1 We adjusted the app's name to show that it is part of the Linchpin Theme app.

Navigation

There were no new features for Linchpin Navigation Menus in this release.

Bugfixes

• SINCE 1.1.1 Empty categories in a menu will now be hidden.

User profiles

This patch release addresses some issues in Linchpin User Profiles and the Content Responsibilities.

Bugfixes

• You can now use native Confluence profile fields for filtering users in the people directory.
• When configuring validated phone fields to be filled via a directory, they can now only be filled manually by users who are not in that directory.
• The display of phone numbers in Linchpin Mobile has been fixed (no more visible "tel:").
• When only selecting a single item in a cascading select field, editing your profile again now correctly remembers that selection.
• Saving profile edit permissions does not show console errors anymore.
• You can now select people in the Content Responsibility macro again, other multi-selects are fixed as well.
• Some small UI fixes were made.
• SINCE 1.1.1 If profile field names are localized and then used as filters in the people directory, they correctly show the translated versions now.
• SINCE 1.1.1 Linked text fields used as a column in the "Custom User List" macro are only displayed for the correct user now.
