Domain based access

What is domain based access?

Inviting colleagues to Linchpin Hey works much easier than before. Simply add your company's email domain to the settings and your colleagues can work with you in Linchpin Hey without having to be invited individually.

Enable domain based access

You can access this function in the administration.

To reach the administration, click on your avatar in the upper right corner and blick on the Administration button. Then, select the User Access tab.

Enter the domain you want to allow to enter your workspace and click on the plus button to add the entry to the list of allowed domains.

Easy access via invitation emails

You can also invite users to your workspace by sending them a link or code generated specifically for this purpose.

The code can be entered when signing up. The link already has the code embedded into it so that the sign-up process is even easier.

Enable easy access

You can access this function in the administration.

To reach the administration, click on your avatar in the upper right corner and blick on the Administration button. Then, select the User Access tab.

In the Easy access to Linchpin Hey section, click on the On button. An overlay will open – click on the Confirm button to activate easy access.

How to use easy access

After you activated this feature, a link and a code will appear. Both can be copied to your clipboard using the Copy to clipboard button right next to them.

Then, all you need to do is share the code or the link with the user(s) you wish to invite into your workspace (for example via email).

Generate a new link

If you wish to generate a new link, click on the Generate new link button. 

Please note that by generating a new link, users who were invited using the old link won't be able to join your workspace anymore. Only one code is valid at a time.
