Linchpin Hack
As an administrator or space administrator, you can define a default image for news. Should a user not include a custom teaser for their news, the default image will be displayed. Check out our Linchpin Hack for defining a default image for news below. Please note the following Linchpin Hack is currently only available in German 🇩🇪.
Upload a global Default Image
Navigate to Confluence administration → Linchpin → Enterprise News → Configuration → Default image.
Here you can upload an image which will be used for every news as the default option. This image will be used by the "Cover Stories" macro, "Corporate News Feed" macro and the "Personal News Feed" macro, unless another image has been chosen or there is a default image configured in the space for a news article.
Requirements
Please use either a .JPG or a .PNG file.
Upload a Default Image for a space
NEW IN 2.20
Navigate to Space configuration → Look and Feel → Linchpin Enterprise News Default image.
Here you can upload an image which will be used for every news of this space as the default option. This image will be used by the "Cover Stories" macro, "Corporate News Feed" macro and the "Personal News Feed" macro, unless another image has been chosen for a news article.
Don't forget to click on save button to save the image!
