In the last weeks, we received several requests to build an Events App for the Atlassian Universe, specifically Confluence. We are thinking about building an Events App, but need your help first.
For a first possible MVP we have outlined the following features:
• Options to create, edit and delete events
• Edit and view the date, time, location, the creator of the event and a list of attendees
• An event hub for all to get an overview of all ongoing events
• A Makro to display a single event on a Confluence Page
• A Makro to display all upcoming events in a list
Would the features above help you solve your problems regarding events? If not, is there anything you would need before being able to use this App successfully?

Hi! This is a real treasure! Thank you for the conciseness, nice design and good usability. I was wonder when I saw text formatting in the event description. 😍 Just one more question - why there is no possibility to add your own photo on the cover? 😔 Is it possible to somehow get around this 😅 by adding, for example, your own photos to Unsplash?

Simple, easy to use. What I would find worthy is to be able to export/subscribe to the event hub (like subscribing to a calendar). It would also boost the cooperation between users.

First of all I really like the simplicity of the app.
I have some issues with the dates.
First one ist that the time is one hour later than selected (e.g. I select 9:00 but it shows 10:00).
Also the sorting is a bit confusing because it's done by the end date. If I have an event which goes from April till October (because there are several workshops ongoing), it is arranged after the April/May/June/July/August/Sept events. If there are many events user will see it too late and miss a part of the series.

I think it needs both and the ability to select TEAMS.
Also since the last update it keeps asking for permissions every time I do anything, Times are also limited from 9 to 5 pm which is not very useful

I understand that the permission process after updates is pretty annoying but we are hoping that Atlassian will make the process more pleasant in the near future.
If you reload the entire page after agreeing to the permissions the first time, it should be fine until the next update.
The times aren't limited, but the selection drop down is. You can always place your courser in the field and type your own date and time. You are of course right that this is not very user friendly and difficult to understand. I will create a ticket for the issue.

With the newest version of EasyEvents we introduced two new macros. One to display a single event and another one to create an event list on a Confluence page or blogpost. Both macros can be used to make other users aware of events. We hope you enjoy the new features.

wäre sehr schön, wenn es eine Möglichkeit gäbe, auf das Event hinweisen zu können, als auf anderen Seiten anteasern. Vielleicht habe ich nur nicht erkannt wie das geht, oder ihr nehmt das als Feature-Request. Vielen Dank und herzliche Grüße

vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Aktuell ist das leider noch nicht möglich, aber ich nehme es gerne als Feature-Request auf. Würde dir ein Link zum Event ausreichen? Ein Event-Makro haben wir bereits auf der Roadmap, es gibt aber noch keinen genauen Zeitplan.
Das nächste Feature, welches wir (vermutlich im Laufe der nächsten Woche) release werden ist die Option ein Headerbild in ein Event einzubinden.

seit dem neusten EasyEvents Release ist es möglich über das "Display event"-Makro auf ein Event hinzuweisen. Ich hoffe das Feature hilft dir weiter.
