We calculate that it takes about 10 seconds per checklist task to read and check off a task in our checklist software. While we know, that the technical process is much faster (e.g. in our mobile app) we still believe this is a good average value to calculate what it cost in terms of time to work with our software.
You could call this the bureaucracy downside of using checklists. While there are numerous advantages, this time consumption is the main downside in our opinion.
